African Safari: Wild Life, Wild Love

is a personalized novel set on a luxury tent safari in Zambia, southern Africa.
Danger has always been part of the allure of going on African safari, and that is exactly what seems to await at every turn in this Fletcher Newbern novel that unfolds at several luxury tent resorts in remote Zambia in Southern Africa.
'Wild life' abounds as does 'wild love,' and not just from the wild animals. From plane rides to river trips to drive safaris over endless plains of wilderness, our starring couple spot magnificent animals and enjoy extraordinarily private moments, but trouble ensues when a crew of bad guys force our couple into the fray where they learn true lessons of life and love.

This book gives a true representation of what going on a luxury safari is like, but the action is amplified when our couple find out that there is much danger in their vacation than deadly lions, leopards, crocodiles and charging rhinos.

WILD excerpt

All excerpts in this column are done in the "WILD" version. Examples of personalization are in pink, such as man's and woman's names, cologne, eye color, etc.
This scene takes place by the fire pit and pool after Ann and John have spent a trying day on safari.

So far, only Ann and John had come to the fire pit, which was fine with them. The staff had served drinks and appetizers and then left the area, so the couple could relax and regenerate in the warm water of the pool. Their hands joined under the water, clasped in an embrace. No thinking about Yorkville, Wheeling Steel, Kaufmann’s, nor Jodee or Frank for that matter.
The couple sipped their drinks and watched the sparks fly upward to hide among the stars. Their fingers played, their tips brushing flesh, rubbing gently, then more boldly as their minds became enamored with the sensation of fingers touching places hidden from the view of others. They eased closer together, their fingers unclasped, and emboldened with privacy and a need for spiritual and physical bonding, their digits explored each other’s nether regions quietly and urgently. It was like they were not thinking, but instead reacting to the moment: alone, in love, shaken by danger and looking for reassurance in their knowledge of each other’s desires.
“Umm,” Ann moaned quietly, “you know I need this.”
Feeling her fingers wrap around his manhood, John answered, “I know. So do I.”
For a moment she clung to the side of the pool, then she turned to face him. Looking into his hazel eyes, she said, “You know how much I love you.”
He wrapped his leg around hers and drew her near and gently rubbed his fingers over her core. “Yes, I do. And it’s that love that I trust. It means the world to me.”
“I was scared today.” She slid away from the wall, wrapping her legs around his waist. “I don’t know what I would do if something had happened to you.” Her lips found his, and she drank him in; Old Spice rising from his skin adding to her desire.
John kissed her in return and intensified his underwater caress, moving his hand inside her hot-mama red swimsuit. The heat there inflamed him, and his index finger curled around her sensitive lips. “I was scared, too. If I had lost you. . .” His voice trailed as her tongue twisted into his mouth.
“Ummm,” Ann hummed, pushing her hips against his. “Do you feel that?”
The thrust of her loins against him was evident. “Yes, yes, I do.”
“Be quick. Move faster,” she whispered. “I need this fast.”
John rapidly worked her willingly, positioning his fingers exactly where he knew she wanted them, a skill he had learned in their 19 years together. Right now all he wanted was to take her to that place where nothing mattered but his touch. Yes, his own need was magnified, but now was not his time. Now was about her, his Honey, his lover, his friend, his mate, the person who made his life complete. Right now all he wanted to do was make her happy, and by the contraction of her legs around him and the subsequent release and collapse of her body, he knew he had been successful. As he held her close, his lips resting on her long blonde hair, he inhaled the smell of Tresor rising from her. Her breathing slowing, he said, “I love you more than anything.”
“Oh, Darling,” Ann was able to mumble, “I know you do. And I count on that so much.”
“You can always count on me,” he replied. “Now you just relax and enjoy.” He wrapped his arms around her, happy the pool was shallow enough for him to stand.
“You are so sweet,” she told him, completely letting her body go, except for the grip she still maintained on his still fully erect member. “Ohh, and what about you? It feels like you’ve got loving on your mind.”
He squeezed her. “You know me so well. I always have loving on my mind.”
