For the Ages

is a personalized novel that takes place at the venerable Grove Park Inn Resort and Spa in Asheville, NC. On a getaway for autumn's "leaf season," our couple explore all the resort has to offer, from its world-class spa and exquisite cuisine to a one-of-a-kind history lesson.
An insightful guide accompanies them back through the years where they meet some of the historic Inn's most notable guests, such as Thomas Edison, Harry Houdini and F. Scott Fitzgerald. Even the Pink Lady, the resort's resident ghost, plays into what they learn about life and love during their adventure.
North Carolina is a beautiful state all year long, but autumn is when the Blue Ridge Mountain's trees turn colors that are as colorful as anywhere in the world. Add the history, mystery and beauty of the Grove Park Inn as a backdrop turns this story in a tale for the ages.

WILD excerpt

All excerpts in this column are done in the "WILD" version. Examples of personalization are in pink, such as man's and woman's names, cologne, eye color, etc.
Ann smiled, fully appreciative of their little game of words and fully aware that John was more capable of making her feel totally like a woman than any other man alive. Feeling very secure and still very much in a spirited mood, she said, "I just want you to know how lucky you are to have me to take advantage of." She took his chin into her hand and brought it toward her lips, but before she could complete the kiss, he said, "I do."
Their embrace was gentle at first, but when their lips continued contact, when the softness of their mouths led to a deeper passion, when their tongues slid forward and back, tickling and exploring, when their touch drew their hands into the action, caused their bodies to press against each other, electrifying not only their skin but their minds, they could only wish the back seat of the limo was a little more private and the drive a little longer."
You feel so good in my arms," Johnwhispered into her ear, breathing deeply in excitement. "And when I smell Obsession right here on the side of your neck, umm, it excites me." He kissed the spot.
She scrunched her shoulders. "Oh, that tickles." But instead of drawing away, she exposed her neck for more of his advance. "
"It's supposed to," he said between planting kisses on her skin. "I know it's tickling me." His breath was hot on her neck as he placed his mouth on her again.
Ann felt her pulse and temperature rising. She ran her hand up the inside of his thigh. In a low, guttural voice, she sighed, "I like what I feel."
I'm beginning to think I should do some of that taking advantage of you right about now," he said. At that moment, their favorite Frank Sinatra tune started up over the limo's stereo speakers. "Just like on WLUV," John noted, quickly adding with an air of optimism, "maybe we should take that as a sign." He placed his hand on Ann's knee and began to slide it up her leg.
Ann almost let go, relaxing her muscles as his warm palm went higher, but what came over the speakers next was no longer the sound of their favorite Frank Sinatra song but the voice of the driver: "Excuse me folks, but we're coming up on Macon Avenue. Grove Park's just up the hill. You'll see St. Mary's Episcopal Church up on the left when we make the turn."
John didn't stop his advance, but Ann did, which caused John to whine, "Just a little more." The palm of his hand could feel the heat he had sparked, and he didnât want it to stop.
She placed her hand over his and said, "I want what you want, Sweet Baby, but not when we're so pressed for time, not when we canât really enjoy it. I want to be taken advantage of. I thought I made that clear." To drive home the point, she pressed John's hand against her thigh, held it there for a second and withdrew it to rest on her knee. To reassure him, she smiled and pecked him on the lips.
He smiled back said as he sat up, "I know, Honey. It's just that you make me so hot."
"You're always hot, but for now, let's enjoy the drive. I'll make you even hotter when we get checked in."
